The pieces shown above are good examples of Sideshow Collectibles statues. We absolutely love Sideshow and their work and understand that, while they may be expensive, they are truly a work of art.
We are not particular about Sideshow statues and would buy almost any, whether you have 1 or 100 of them.
These 2 statues are examples of Kotobukiya statues. This company is different from the previous manufacturers as they make less expensive statues and collectibles. Their statues can range in retail from $50-350. The first statue pictured retailed for $60 while the second retailed for $200.
Since these statues are not as valuable as the previous manufacturers, we prefer not to buy them individually. It would be preferable if these were sold at least in small lots. This would all vary based on what you have.
These 2 are examples of DC Collectibles/Direct statues. They tend to make less expensive statues that range in retail from $50-$300 (similarly to Kotobukiya).
These fall into the same category as the previous manufacturer and we prefer not to buy them individually. It would be preferable if these were sold at least in small lots. Again, this would all vary based on what you have.
These 2 are examples of Bowen Designs statues. The top piece is a Bowen Designs bust. These are usually smaller and had a low retail. The bottom picture shows a statue which had a comparable retail to larger Kotobukiya statues.
Bowen Designs have been out of business for a while, but there is still a demand for their statues and busts. The statues we would purchase in small lots or even individually, but the busts have much less value so we prefer lot of at least a few of them.
